Default question about horns

I've noticed that you guys in here have some good knowledge about hooking horns up. Can anyone help me get my MOMO horn button to work? I can't figure out the wiring and no one i know has an answer.

I drive a 94 accord coupe. The horn button has two places for wires on the back and the hub has one wire coming out of the metal base. I have two extra wires for it but i don't know how the wiring should be. Hope you can help, thanks.

honda typically uses a negative trigger for their horn circuits. for a '94 accord, it should be a light green/blue wire coming out of the ignition switch harness.

from your description, it sounds like the wire coming out of the metal base is the trigger wire for the horn circuit. is this wire connected to the horn button? did momo include any instructions at all or are the wires at least labeled? if not, can you can post detailed pics?

I tried connecting the wire coming out of the base (which is black by the way) to the horn button but got nothing. The other two wires that were included are green and yellow and neither has an indication to where it should be. Unfortunately there were no instructions either. When i get home i'll take some pics and put them up. thanks for trying to help out.

Here's how it was wired when i took off the stock wheel.
The black wires from both horn buttons were screwed to the metal part of the hub and the red wires were screwed to this small metal plate. I couldn't see if the screw had contact with something behind it though, but it's possible it was touching the metal also i'm not sure. I haven't looked at the back of the stock horn buttons yet...i think i'll do that when i get home later.

Thanks again.

do you have a digital volt-meter? if you do, you can probe the black and red wires to see which are connected to ground (it sounds like the black ones are from your previous post). if the red wires carry any voltage, you can test for that too.
