Default Question about Door Trigger Wire

How important is this wire when installing a remote start engine?

I cant find it, where is this located?

car is 89 Civic LX Auto. Anyone help me out pls. Thank you!

Its green/red strip in the driver kick pannel, NOt needed for remote start unless the alarm system needs it.

How can I tell that the alarm system needs it?
I got the Auto Mate remote start.

Poblem solved!!! probably didnt need the door trigger wire...lol

Just did reset the thing, because it was from my friend, and was used before in a different car, so we reset it today and it works! Thanks anyway for the input, I appreciate it!
