Default Question

I'm getting a 2002 Civic EX Coupe pretty soon. I'm just waiting for a check from the insurance comp and I'll have it. Any ways, my question is that I want to replace the stock CD player with my Sony Xplod. Will I need to get any dish kits or anything to install it? And does any one know how much watts the stock puts out?

Thanks,
~fog~

not sure on installation but it should be pretty straight forward stock probably puts out 10-15 watts max put a nice headunit in with some good front speakers and you'll be tons happier

Well, I diffiantly plan to rip the stock head out, I don't know if I'll do the speakers...yet...

I guess what I'll have to do is when I get it I'll just take the dish apart and see what I'll need or if I'll need anything at all. The other thing I hope the face on my cd player will open all the way because of the edge on the dish, I don't think that will be a problem thou.

I've looked at some places online and I haven't had luck finding any for a 2002 or anything adove 98.

I haven't checked the steiro store around here, we only have one and they are WAY over priced.

the kit is the same as the 2001 civic and replaces the stock location and allows a DIN sized head unit to be installed..and its the same harness as the 98's

already had one in my bay this week.

NM. I got it all worked out. I put it in tonight, took me awhile to figure out how the dash came apart but we got it. It looks nice, matches the lighting and everything...Thanks again!
