Is it any good? or should i go with a viper 7900, the 990 has a 1 mile range, which is pretty far, the specs on both alarms are similar, But what has better quality?

You might as well throw the 50.5x up there too. There all the same. The python and viper uses the same case and everything. The clifford use a diffrent brain case and shock sencer and cf remote. Other then that your good to go.

 

What's up with turbo timer and defroster features?

Okay cool, sry for the noob questions. I get the defrost part, but what does the alarm time to let the turbo cool down?

Umm, mevermind, I just realized I never understood what a turbo timer was.
But I do now.
