2) when someone tries to open the door it doesnt set off the alarm or even alert me
3) and does anyone know the approx range on these things?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">1) when the door is ajar the remote doesnt tell me.
2) when someone tries to open the door it doesnt set off the alarm or even alert me</TD></TR></TABLE>

Then the door trigger is either not connected, or connected to the wrong wire in the vehicle.

0-1320 feet. Your results may vary depending on battery strength, terrain & presence of electrical interference.
