they are gen4 ion blue angel eyes w/ dual projectors. i think the extra wires are for day running lights? i dont know .if they are i dont want them on.

no the instructions are in japanese!!! i think the extra wires are for the halos like u said. i just dont know where to wire em.

one wire is power. one is ground. is one red, and one black?
halo's usally work when the car is turned on. so they are on all the time. (while the car is on) you just don't notice them when your headlights are on. HTH
