Problems with Kenwood deck
to start it off the deck is about a year old and is a Kenwood KDC-722. and the problem i am having only happens about 50% of the time i use it.
The problem is that sometimes while playing cds that the music starts getting really scratchy, sometimes it is very faint and other times it is impossible to listen to the cd. i know it isnt my amps or loose speaker wires or anything because i switch it over to Tuner and the radio plays normally. so does anyone have a suggestions in what i might do to fix it?...

Re: Problems with Kenwood deck (untitledsn41)
The best I could recommend is checking all the RCA's to make sure they are connected properly. Checking all the speaker, power, ground, and remote wires. I would start with the grounds and speaker wires. If they are all fine, it's prob an internal problem so you will have to have that checked out by a Kenwood dealer or something.

I had the same problem as you. Kenwood eXcelon Deck model x579 i think, used just over 1 year. Never could figure out the problem. Sometimes it work perfectly, something it sounds like the disc is all scratch up, then it start making all kind of weird noises. I go rid of it and got a pioneer.
