Problems with car
ALright i own a 97 civic hb dx
it had a alarm aftermarket i ripped it out
i have the motor out with the wiring harness
there is a green plug that you disconnect to take the harness out
when i turn the key on all the way my lights work but heater wont turn on, radio doenst work and fuel pump doesnt go
is this becuase i took the alarm out or because the green plug is not connected?

thanks for the help</TD></TR></TABLE>Must be the green plug, removing the alarm should not keep the radio from working or the heater, Maybe the fuel pump, unless they installed a relay on the ign. line, [ign. kill]. When you removed the alarm, did you remove any relays.
When you say "i have the motor out" what do you mean? do you mean the cars engine? What kind of alarm was it? You also say the radio, heater and fuel pump don't work when you turn the key "all the way" do they work any other time? your ign. switch has 4 positions 1- off 2- acc. 3- ign. 4- start, [crank].

ok the motor is not in the car cause i am building it...i took the whole harness out with the motor and inorder to do that i had to disconnect the green plug...no relays i believe came out with the alram i forget what type of alram it was.sorry
but in either spot i turn the key like 1, 2, 3,4 postion the lights work and lights on the radio and heater control come on but the radio goes not have power to play a cd or listen to radio and the fuel pump doesnt prime nor does the blower motor work
i think it is the green plug i am not to sure
