Default Problem with System

Okay heres my deal, Ive tried using 2 diff amps so ive kinda ruled that part out. I have a Kicker 15 Comp VR.....
My problem is when I hook up my amp, sub, etc I get connection, power, everything.
Power is fine until the bass hits, then my amp goes in to Protect.
Any ideas of what it could be???

I had that problem once.. in my case it was a loose wire inside the box, when the sub would hit it would also go into protection. at a lower volume it would b ok. but only when i crank it up it would go to protection.. might want to check the wires from the amp to the sub and also the wires inside the sub.

also check your ground wire is the same gauge as the power wire, short, and very well connected to a bare metal chassis surface

sorry to say...but if all the wiring is in place and well secured...you've blown your sub. try using a diff. sub and see what happens.
