I had a PPI PCX4125 that was pushing a set of Focal 165k2's and (2) JL 12w6v2's and i loved it. Old school PPI's are legendary.

PPI has been acquired by DEI, so most of the new stuff is questionable.

The older stuff was designed and built by people who care about quality.

Old school were just plain awesome! Any PPI amp that is white/pink, or granite are still better to this day than a ton of the amps out there. Well, as long as they are cared for that is. As a matter of fact I just sold off all of mine including a PC2150, a couple 275's, 250's...etc... They're bad *** but I get new stuff free of charge so *meh*, no need anymore.

First they were bought out by Orion, Orion jacked all of their technologies and made PPI their more-or-less "budget" line compared to the old PPI stuff. Then came DEI...

The PCX's weren't bad either, just kind of a lull if not a step in the wrong direction IMO...
