Default POS Compustar 2W900FM-AS

Installed by authorized dealer, with mobile electronics certification.

The thing finally crapped out.

Anyone have the problem of impact sensor keeps activating warning? Only happens at night...

If you got it and it was installed at an authorized dealer, then you have a lifetime warranty on the system and on the install.
Have you gone back to the dealer with the problem?

Although a falsing problem can be a problem with the unit or the sensor that is falsing, 9 out of 10 times its an install problem or an adjustment problem or both.
Where and how the impact sensor is mounted is critical on how it operates.

Have you looked up under the dash to see how the install was done and where and how the impact sensor is installed?
If not do so.

We have installed 100s of the 2W900FM-AS in our 22 locations and like any other alarm/alarm remote start, we have had problems with them , very few compared to the other product we carry, DEI, Autostart, Audiovox, [Prestige] and Polarstart.

Most of the problems have been the failure of one part of the system, but they are always fixed right away by replacing that part, install related problems are few and far between because we have install standards that have to be fallowed by all our installers at all store locations.

One of the install policies we have is 30 day free, no appointment needed, sensor sensitivity readjustment, how a sensor reacts when it is first adjusted in a nice warm shop and a week later, in the real world, in front of your house, after the "break-in period" can be very different. 94
