plz help.......amp switch question?

Default plz help.......amp switch question?

ok i have a universal switch and i want 2 hook it up to make my amp turn on and off how do it do it? it has three prongs on the back of it plz help me hook it up to amp for a tuirn on/off switch

well you dont really need an on off switch you can run it to your power antena lead or any ignition power but 3 prongs one is for 12volt igntion one is for ground and the other you run to your amplifier make sure you dont run your 12v in to constant or if you forget to turn your switch on your amp will be on even if your car is off

yeah, one of the prongs goes to power, one to ground, and one is a ground for the light in the switch, do you still have the packaging? should tell you wich is wich in there.
