Default Picture post sticky?

I have searched and you have to search for a lot of different words and go to a bunch of different links just to get some pictures/ideas for systems and what not. Anyway we could get a picture post sticky. Just simply pictures and a description of what you have. No conversation or anything though.

Gear
Boston Z6's in front (Coaxial mounted), Neo type M's in the dash (ambient tweeter kits in the little side vent things), took out the rear Z's (no need for rear fill ). Boston GT24 (sub amp), Old school ppi amp running the Z's (looking for a better solution), Boston G5124 (sub).

Oh and an eclipse CD8053 to run it all.

Other Stuff
1/0 gauge running back split to 4g off a 1 farad cap. Portable sat tuner mounted in armrest console w/ an infrared repeater in the vents for it, and the antenna hidden behind the gauge cluster. Volt gauge behind the vents as well. Female aux jack mounted by the e brake. 120 sq feet of dynamat. Monster 401XLN 4 channel rca's. Stinger Bullet series 2 channel rca's. If you can't tell from the pics, it's a fiberglass spare well enlosure w/ a false floor.

Comments

The Z's need more power. I'm looking at getting a diamond audio D3400.2 to power them but am undecided yet. I would love to get a mcintosh amp to run them but they are uber spendy.

The ambient tweeter kit makes a world of difference: it helped raise the sound stage so much.

The sub/amp combo is perfect. Running @ 4 ohms w/ a fully dynamatted trunk ftw. I was amazed how much dynamatting the trunk lid (after full doing the rest of the car) tightened up the sub. This combo is perfect for ALL types of music. I listen to rap, rock, jazz, hip-hop, r&b, country, emo, etc etc etc and it always sounds just like it should. If only I had gotten the d4 instead of the s4. Hmm..

The deck is amazing. Once you're in pro mode, you can blow yourself away. My only complaint is the lack of expansion capabilites (ie not playing mp3 cd's, only one aux input, ever. No sat tuner, etc etc). Once you get the time alignment dialed in you get a phantom center channel. Awesome.

Overall I'm happy, but it still needs a better 2 channel amp, and quite a bit of tweaking.
