Hey guys question...

I have an aftermarket cd player installed in my car. My car was broken into a few months back and thankfully nothing was taken. But they definently tried. They broke my console trim trying to get at my unit... I replaced it all a week ago and noticed that my stock radio was buried in the dash. Upon removing it i realized that the dome light is powered by a wire going into the radio. Someone on jdmu confirmed this for me, my question is

does anyone know what wires i could cut and connect to bypass having the radio?

the car is a 97 ex, the dome light works but the light wont come on when i open the doors.

If you have oem key-less entry/alarm, you will have to leave the oem HU wired behind the dash, the [R/F section is in the radio and the dome light "supervision"] or install an aftermarket alarm and wire the door locks. 94

 

to connect the wires...look for a green harness
the wires are light green with red trace and light green with black trace.
connect these wires together and your dome will work with the doors.
