Default Phoenix Gold

anybody everheard of them? i havent a friend of mine just got a 500.2 two channel amp from a pawn shop for only 150. It thumps and everybody i ask tells me its a good company i still have never heard of them.

generally speaking, a good company...the tantrum and titanium lines are pretty sweet. Their older amps can be great too.

Their elite speakers are essentially morels built for PG, so they are high end...

I'm just unsure of what their new direction is after cutting out the titanium/tantrum lines for the OctaneR and whatever lines...

Phoenix Gold rules! highly recommended. i wouldn't have anything else in my system but PG. reason you never heard of them is because they are not your typical **** you see in bestbuy or circuit city n all that ****. i guarantee you that you can never go wrong with phoenix gold. i personally have the old school phoenix gold stuff cause i can't afford the new ones. i have a 12" PG Xmax12 pushed by PG XS2500. clean and powerful.

Yep, PG is a quality brand. You won't just see them in any old store so thats probably why you haven't heard of them.

by the way, what line is that amp? titanium? zx? zxti? tantrum? if they are, that's a pretty good deal. i got my Phoenix Gold XS2500 for a $100. just curious.

im not sure what kind of pg amp it is he got it from a pawn shop so im not sure all i remember is 500.2 on the top and it was a two channel amp
