PANASONIC head unit, please help me!
Alrighty, I got a fairly new Panasonic head unit, dont know the model. Its the one thats silver by day/blue by night... anyways, it has a sub output on it. The problem is that one day I was running sub output to amp and all. Then, the sub quit matching the music, then the sub sounded a little distorted. Not so bad right? Well, I then pushed mute and the sub continues to hit weird. It seems as if somehow I burned out the RCA OUTPUTS for the sub output? I really would like someone to help me. For the time being, I put it into the rear speaker output rca jacks and am running the sub from that and it works good, but doesnt hit as hard and has no in headunit crossover. Can anyone help me out with a way to fix this?

Thanks man, but I actually had it installed from best buy... they do it for free, so i figured why waste my time. I was just hoping someone did it for a LVING right now and could give me a little help. I did do the troubleshooting once it went out and just switched the RCA hookup once nessecary!

ok, i've gone through experences with that headunit, and it blows..
**** panasonic..
my friend has the day and night one like yours, and his **** sounds all distorted..
later found out it was his crappy amp haha.
anyways, his headunit has blown wirring for the normal speaker wirring, so he had to use the front, rear RCA output wires for his mids and highs, we even swap headunits twice because of the problem.
