opinions on Q-forms
Anyone own or have installed Q-Logic Q-Forms and have an opinion they'd like to share? They run $125 shipped on ebay. I got JL components in the doors with the tweeters sort of rigged to the speaker grills.
I highly reccomend Q-FORMS if you cant fiberglass your own kicks, we are an authorized dealer for q-logic, they are real high quality and the color match is right on..... the only real downside is they can only fit a 6"...
Yea, for a company that made such shitty prebuilt box's, to make a pretty darn good "pod" kind of amazes me, but I have installed more then a few sets, and none have come back with a problem.

A point well taken. On the other hand, I think the people who would be most disappointed with the size restriction are those who are running just a head unit.

Well I've seen it done. Never attempted myself.

i currently have kick panel enclosures from q-logic in my integra and they are great. im planning on using them again in a dodge dakota with 6.5 inch drivers. with slight fabrication it is possible.
the only thing i had a problem with is getting them as secure from moving as i would have liked. i wanted to know it would be sealed pretty nicely and that they wouldnt move around at all when the speaker was driving itself.
otherwise, its a great little addition and gets alot of compliments from people who havent really seen such a thing

theyre pretty rigid in there stock form... what we do sometimes is lay some fiberglass mat on the back side to stiffen it up some..
