Ya buy two more 8 ohm speakers or one four ohm speaker power delivery on that one would be uneven though.

In short no, 2 x 8 ohm VC can be wired in parallel for a 4 ohm load, [sounds like you already have them that way] there is no way to get the impedance lower, [unless you add 2 more 8 ohm subs]. 94

are the SVC or DVC because if they are SVC then your options for wiring are 4 ohms and 16 ohms, obviously you would want 4 ohm which is wiring in parallel

if they are DVC (4 ohms per coil) you can get 1 ohm by wiring ur coils in parallel then wiring the two subs in parallel. (thats 2 ohms per speaker, in parallel =1 ohm)

SVC = Single Voice Coil
DVC = Dual Voice Coil

ding ding a weiner.

if you look at that link i posted it will give you different wiring options and tell you the impedance each one will give

if your amp is 1 ohm stable in bridged mode then i would wire it how i said before, but i dont think that amp is 1 ohm stable, so your only option is 4 ohm

if your subs really are 8 ohm, its kinda hard to find 8 ohm, are you 100% sure that they are 8 ohm?

before i blew my subs out i would put them in my car, run them, then just bring one inside and use it on my pc since i blew the one in that one as well lol.

A question for some of you.

When you measure a voice coil with an RMS multimeter what is that a measurement of.

I'm not asking because I don't know, I'm asking so others may learn.

you are measuring the DC resistance, not the impedence although both are measured with ohms. do i get a prize?

Yes you are correct.
Impedence=Resistance + Reactance

Resistance is the DC component Reactance is the AC component.

An ohm meter passes a small dc current through the speaker to make it's measurement.

then it appears that for now you have to run it at 4 ohm
