Default noob/ghetto Question

I have a 10" Xplod sub and I had a 500w Xplod amp to it and it beated good.

So I sold the amp and i got itching for bass again so I was like what the hell and disconnected my left rear speaker and put those 2 wires to the sub and it beated like i had an Amp. I was just like WTF???

So my question is if I disconnected the RIGHT rear speaker wires and put those to the Sub as well, would it provide more watts and more bass? Thanks and sorry for the n00by question

btw i have a xplod 52w X 4 h/u

are you saying that you are running straight raido to your 1 10" sub from your stock speakers? no amp right?

as far as hooking both left and right speaker wires to your sub to get more power... i got a noob answer for ya...lol...try it and if it doesnt then disconnect and if it does then bump that ish. lol.

personally i would think that it would be a lil louder but not very noticable just make sure that you hook up red to red and black to black. lol.

ohhh gotta 500 watt alpine v12 amp for sell if you ever wanna get that bump back to the right status.
