i just got 2 12 inch jl audio w0's used, and i was just wondering what kind of amp i need to power it ? what't ehdifference between mono and 2 channel and which one would i need ? im not gonna be bumping my music all crazy loud or anything.

For sub bass a mono block, [1ch.] sub amp is the best, your subs are 125W continuous. [RMS] so a total of 250W continuous... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/pdfs/10_12_15W0_MAN.pdf

You will need an amp the makes at least 250W-300W RMS into whatever load you wire the subs too, [they come in SVC 4, 8 and 12 ohms] you will need to know the impedance of the subs before you pick an amp, however the JL Audio 250/1 will work for the 4 and 8 ohm, if they are 12 ohm, you can only get a 6 ohm load by paralleling the subs so a JL Audio e1800D would work, or any mono block am that will make 250W-300W into a 6 ohm load. 94
