Kicker l5 sub
Like I said, either one will work, if your looking for something else, look for a mono block amp with 600W-750W RMS.
No matter what amp you get, as long as you do not drive the amp into constant clipping and the sub is in a proper enclosure, you will not hurt the sub.94

It's better to be overpowered then it is to be underpowered.
Keep in mind that your sub is 600W continuous and 1200W peak, also remember music is dynamic, even when volume is cranked up it is very seldom amp will make it's RMS wattage, just on the loudest peaks of the music and then only for a sec. the rest of the time the amps output will be less then rated RMS output and the average RMS output will be less then 50% of rated RMS output.
Also keep in mind the amp has a gain control so you can adjust the amps output to match what your sub will handle, that will also depend on the cabinet the sub is in, and how well it is constructed, in fact I would be far more concerned with the sub box then the amp running the sub. 94

lol dampening factor has nothing to do with SQ. id like you to listen to the same sub/same enclosure with an amp @ 1 then @ 4. same rms. bet you couldnt say wich is wich
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...KAC-9104D.html or that amp since its cea 2006 compliant but its 100 rms less than i need
I would still go with the first mono block... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218012127692, just for the extra 100W. 94
