Default need info on eclipse products

Anyone know the quality of eclipse headunits and subs...not sure on a head unit model, but the subs were either 10" eclipse 88100TI or 12" Eclipse 86120.8
I just wanted to know if these are good subs and what deck to look for. My friend also is selling eclipse 6x9 speakers and I have older alpines...so I think I am going to upgrade to the eclipse speakers
any opinions?

Have you looked at the price of those tiitanium subs? they are great subs but very pricey. their hu's are very nice too. they sound great, easy to use and some of the highest preouts outs of any manufacturer. I'm not familar with the exact model# you are looking at but i have one that is 5 years old. still works great but i upgraded to the eclipse am/fm screen. i have an eclipse cd changer and i have run the 8715 subs in the past. those were great too.

subs are used so they arent as much as brand new ones would run me...pretty much I upgraded to a 12"12w3...and its better than the 10's I had but I dont like it..I want something cleaner sounding...so I've been checking out different subs...I dont want to go crazy...I've looked at the alpine type r's, kicker solobarics (round ones)....just not sure what I should get

I have two titantium series 15's never maxed them out, and they go so freakin loud. All I can say is crazy bass. a bit pricey I would say, but I am underpowing them so much that they'll never blow.

look at my sig..i have the top of the line Eclipse head unit for sale.
for the price, it would be hard pressed to find any better.
8v preouts unbalanced, if u purchase the balance out with the CD8053,
preouts are 16v
top of the line alpine only gives u 4v preouts.
some guy, i think on caraudioforum.com, said he noticed he was able to
push his sub a lil bit harder (and cleaner i would imagine, although prolly not so
noticable) with the 8v preout eclipse head unit vs. his old alpine which had 4v.
