Default Need help picking an amp

I don't know much about audio when it comes to picking an amp for subs. I have 2 10'' Polk Audio DX series-4ohm( 600 watt peak; 300 rms each). I am not wanting to spend too much for the amp, at most $250.
I am looking for nice, clean bass which is still loud...but not obnoxiously loud that rumbles the trunk like no other.....

My question is...should i by a less powered JL audio amp(e-class type, 200 rms) or an alpine amp(mrp-m350) which is 700 peak, 200 rms at 4 ohm? Would this be sufficient for my wants? Or should i buy another brand?
Thanks!

you should look for something in the in 400+ watts rms range since you're gonna be driven 2 subs. those amps you mentioned are usually used for mids and such
