We're gonna need a hell of alot more information than that it "just stops".

What alarm/starter did you put in?
What vehicle is it in? (Make & Model, Please)

And what the hell is "second key mode"???

These "modes" you keep talking about; are you talking about programming menus? I've never heard of this. Maybe you're just not explaining it coherently.

Ohhh... You bought a knockoff cheapo starter. I remember your other thread in which you posted a pic of the wiring diagram.

Anyways. If the accessories work but the starter won't engage, one of two things could be wrong. Well, two things could be wrong.

First, you may have tapped the wrong wire for the starter in the IGN harness. How did you test to make sure you were connecting the starter wire off the Remote Starter to the correct wire in the IGN harness?

Second, the starter output could be bad from the remote starter.

Either way, you're going to need to break out the meter & test your wires. Starter wire in the IGN harness should show 12 volts only when the key is turned all the way, then show 0 volts when the key is in the "run" position.

The starter wire from the remote starter should throw 12 volts only after powering up the IGN and ACC wires, and then only for the duration set by the manufacturer or howver long you set it for during programming.

Oh, and stop referring to key positions as "modes". They're not.

If you did a starter kill make sure that its hooked up correct. You could have the key side, starter side flipped around.
