Default motion sensor ?'s

Ok, so i just got a motion sensor added to my alarm. And it ANNOYS THE CHIT outta me! Do any of u guys have problems with your sensors? It randomly gives "warning sounds" even when no one is around. And occasionally it will go off when no one is around. I know no one is around because i can see my car just be peeping through a window. Also, i make sure there are no metal objects in the way of the sensor.

Is there anyway i can stop this annoyance wihtout removing the sensor?

I think i'm pissing off my neighbors

you can have the shop that installed it turn doen the sensitivity
if your windows are tinted that will affect the sensitivity
placement is also important, I've had birds affect mine, and if anyone walks
in front of it they are going to get a warning chirp

Motion sensors usually come in the generic variety. It's basically microwave that bounces around the inside of your car. There should be a twist **** that you can adjust on it but might be a pain to get to. Usually they put it under the console, in front of the shifter. I have mined turned all the way down although it is cool to have your windows down and have it go off when someone sticks their hand inside
