Most Common Method of Entry in Stealing Hondas
I think it's through the hood. Just get at the hood release cable, disconnect the battery (to disarm the alarm). The car is yours.

Yeah, and I heard of a new rule, that they'll make a thieve purposely steal a tank, and if he fails, then he gets run over by the tank...if he succeeds, he still gets 78 years in prison
Please Dont be stOopid..
Come and steal my car, Please! Im asking, to shoot all you dickless Theives where you cant possible grow another one back... Not worth the risk for you theives, nor for your time in Jail or Hell... We hard working car lovers/owners dont like to tolerate their Bullsh!t or their act of a Crime.

My, some of you guys are quite sensitive.
Despite the fact that there is a post beneath mine titled "My Idea of Auto Security" in which the guy says straight out what I said (and goes into much more detail). We have a "security expert" telling us what to do to protect our cars in detail. Geez, uh, I guess the thieves never will read that thread.
I believe 5000 people read his post yet no one complained to him.
Do I detect a double standard here?
Naw.
Regardless, I am not a thief. Due to your "sensitivities," I will ask the board monitor to remove my post.
I wish that girlie men would act like men. This world would be a whole lot tougher.
LOL!

guys don't you understand what he's trying to say? i think its pretty obvious that he's trying to learn how people can force entry to his car so he can figure out what he can do about it. easiest way to fix the hood problem is to use a chain (or a titanium bike lock for that matter) and send it through the hood post and around the support right under it. combo or key, either way will work, only thing is it gets friggin annoying having to get under the car to unlock it every time you need access under the hood, so its a double edged sword. if the annoyance factor doesnt bother you, i say go for it.
Thank you, Wdwalker.
I have a 93 Accord. It's on the hit list. I am just trying to protect it. That was going to be my next question.
You'll have to excuse all of us from California. Some parts of LA are rough. Carjackings, auto theft, etc etc. These guys are just trying to protect their property.
You are right. I was not trying to "jeopardize" them in any way. But, I can understand their sensitivities due to my original question and how it was posed.
I lost one Accord in a college parking lot.
I am doing all I can to avoid losing another.
Take care, and thanks for the suggestion. I am going to have a close look at getting a chain for my hood.

You can protect yr car anyway u want ...... u can even drill 4 holes into the hood and put 24mm lugs through it your damn car still aint safe. Latest trend for thieves is to use a small flatbed truck and a forklift ...they just lift your car in under 10 secs put it on the bed, cover it and they are gone. Witnesses if any think the owner is having his car towed and dont give a rats ***. So much for $$$$ security.
