STereo is two channels Mono is one. So if you have a cd with stereo saying you have two speakers hooked up to stereo equipment and one speaker on each side you would hear differnt sound effects out of each side versus with mono it would be the exact same thing. For OHM's I'm not the best to explain it as I'm not the best explaining stereo even though I know exactly what it is if you need further help I can probably answer questions about stereo vs. mono if you have any. For OHM's like if you have an amp that runs 400W at 4ohms you could run more if you ran it at 2ohms probably like 600W with 2ohms. Depends on what subs and amp your want or if your running speakers what speakers or amp or HU you want you cant run a 4 ohm sub with an amp at 2ohm's. Well you mabe could but it would not be a good idea nor would it be stable.

As for lower OHMs make deeper bass. NO 94

Ohm: The unit of measurement of electrical resistance. The resistance of a circuit in which a potential difference of 1 volt produces a current of 1 ampere.

The lower the ohm load, the more effecient the amplifier is, hence more power into your speaker.

mono one channel(L+R), stereo is left and right. if your running speakers you'd want to run stereo for left and right. if your running subs, itas not about deeper bass, its about how your subs are wired, and what ohm loads you have to get the most out of your amp.

im planning on buying a pair of audiobahn 1206t's, as for an amp im looking at memphis's line because ive heard of many people regard their level of prestiege, door speakers and headunit arent a priority to many honestly(imo they are all the same)

I ususally stick up for Audiobahn but I don't think I would buy one of there subs. I might as a last resort but I really don't even think I would then. They sound muddy and sound like crap to me. I like there Amps and think they are good budget amps despite what many people say but there subs sound like ****. The amps don't put out nearly the power they claim but I like them a lot for budget amps but I just don't like the SUB's at all. I would look at Polk MOMO or many other brands I just like the Polk MOMO subs the best but I'm sure there are ones a lot better out there somewhere.

I noticed a huge differnce in sound quality when I upgraded my HU and noticed another fairly big increase in sound quality with my speaker upgrad although not quite as good. I think you need a good set of speakers before a sub. I prefer a good set of speakers to subs but I have about decided that is because everyone I know that is really into music don't really like subs all that much but set up there systems and spend more time tweaking them than installing them which I also do so they sound better than the systems with subs that arnt set up properly because I haven't seen many setups with subs that are setup correctly althoouh I have seen 1 or 2.

in my eyes the proper order to do things is

Take rear speakers out of the car
Get an HU
front speakers
amp for the front speakers
then a sub and amp combo.

as far as having a setup without a sub...i've yet to see one that will produce anythign below 50hz so that call is up to you. the only thing to do is keep it in proportion with the mids.
