my honda has this system. I never got the alarm remote control when the car was given to me.

I had the key for the maxilock in 1 (look picture). I discovered that when I turn that key on, the alarm goes off , since I don't have the alarm remote control, I can turn the alarm off by starting the car.

the area 2 it is related to the alarm. there are four cables ending on that terminal... any idea how to disconnect the alarm without disconnecting the maxilock system? with maxilock on car cannot be started ...so is very convenient for now ..until i get a new alarm system.

 

1. You should stop worrying about problems with the "maxilock" system, rip it out, and put in an properly installed alarm with hidden kill switch(es). The wiring to the key cylinder is easily traced back to their connection point(s), and therefore very easy to defeat.

2. That plug is not related to any alarm. Looks as though it's a DX model, and that green connector plugs in to the switch blank to merely keep it out of the way & from rattling around in the dash.

Well, i was thinking of keeping the maxilock which works ok for me...

you are right the model is a honda accord 1990 DX....i will get your advice and try to find the alarm brain...
