Default master disconnect switch

hi i recently relocated my battery too the back of my car an in order for me too run at the track i need too install a master disconnect switch but i never done it before can anyone help me out ????

its in the trunk but they told me at the track it needs too turn the car offf when its on in order too past safty

You need one of these... http://www.pegasusautoracing.c...=1465, connect batt. pos.(+) cable to one side and run the same gauge lead from the other terminal to the batt. pos.(+) terminal. 94

well i already have that but the way u explain it it wont shut the car offf it will just cut the power off

Like a "dead mans" switch?

Like you see on Sea-Doos and quads and such, a landyard, [string] around your wrist with a plug at the end plugged into the dash and if pulled out shuts the engine down.????

What exactly is the rule, can it just be a switch that you can flip or a button you can push, or must it be like a "dead mans" switch? 94

It kills the battery and the ignition at the same time. This is what you need.
