Doubtful that you'll be able to pull the hood latch with a door actuator.

You'd likely need a trunk pop solenoid.

you will need 2 relays and wire them up for reverse polarity. on one relay wire 87/85 to 12 volts / 87a to ground / 86 to - lock trigger / 30 to the accuator/solinoid and on the other relay 87/86 to 12 volts / 87a to ground / 85 to - unlock trigger and 30 to the actuator. sorry i dont have a pic but that is how to wire them up.

As mentioned you will need a solenoid. 94

u can buy an aftermarket heavy duty accuator* n wire it up with a relay like dopey mentioned.. but using a oem door lock accuator would not be stronge enough ta pull tha hood releace.

He's telling you how to wire it like a door lock. But unlock a door, you don't need to go in both directions. In other words, pulling the cable pops the hood, but pushing the handle the other way doesn't pull it closed again.

I found this diagram oh I don't know from where, my site I guess.

Instead of the red/white wire, you'll have a normally open push button switch connected to ground.

Be sure to fuse the constant 12v with a 10-15A fuse.

And yes, you'll need a heavy duty solenoid. An actuator isn't going to work.
