Default Low Level Imputs

Hey guys, Ive gotten stuck helping a friend wire up a 98 lude for subs. She got the biggest amp Ive ever seen (some kicker 4 channel thing). Ive done a bunch of sub installs, but this is with her stock headunit. I know I can splice the rear speaker wires and run some speaker wire back for her high level imputs on the amp, but here is my question. I'm kind of short on speaker wire and don't have enough to run two sets of high level imputs. The amp has two spots for high level imputs. Can I run one set of speaker wire and then splice it off at the end near the amp or will that signal be too weak??

EDIT: And if any of you guys have a 98 lude can you help me out as to which one's are the rear speaker wires and which wire I should attach the remote to?? Also, where the heck did you guys run your power wires through?? The lude is uber cramped compared to my Civic I usually work ok! Thanks a ton!

no problem, as long as your only installing subs and do not require 4 channel seperation (FL,FR,RL,RR,) you can use only two and them divide them four ways to go into the high level in. simply ajust the input gain on the amp to compinsate for voltage loss. And about running wire through the car, GOOD LUCK-HAVE FUN
pull as many panels as you have to and just keep it neat.

Can you elaborate on this 4 channel seperation?? The high level imputs have 2 power and two ground wires each. The amp is a Kicker KX800.4 if you know what kind of high level imputs it uses.

EDIT: And I got the power wire through the firewall..almost put a hole in the brake booster doing so!

I already got the low level imputs in (ran 2, one to each amp) but Im still curious about this 4 channel seperation?
