bought an ej6 used, its got a sticker under the hood, "this car has a remote starter", i think it had one but the dealer didn't have the remote, where would i find the hardware, so i can know the make/model of the remote starter, and order another remote?

 

there should be a "brain" or control unit for the entire alarm system, usually under the dash. that should have a model number and manufacturer name on it.

 

If the car had remote start there would need to be connections made to the main ignition harness right by the steering column. Take a look there and trace the wires back to the "brain".
