Kill Switch Idea
I was bored and i started thinking about Kill Switches and how sometimes theifs some times follow the line until they find the switch, well heres an idea. If you have like 6 simultaneous switches and have a few of them switched and a few unswitched and your the only one who knows the "combinatinon" The theif is gonna get confused and leave!
About to have a rum and coke myself
This is an old security idea. It does work but all the person has to do is find the in and out of your lock connect them together then there gone. A more secure way is with relays (or transistors) and using evreyday electrical devices inside your car as the combination.

how the HELL did you post 2 posts at EXACTLY THE SAME TIME?!?!
no matter how drunk/high ive been ive never been able to do it!
the kill switch is a good thought, but think about this, you need at least 1 kill switch that a thief wouldnt think of, like the ECO switch, or even the window lock, or fog light switch, if you wire kills into these a thief is gonna have a head ache
ps:make it so you have one switch you must HOLD DOWN with a spring in it for yoy to start the car, in other words after flipping all your 6 switches, you need to hold onto a press button for the car to start, that is tricky to understand
i have one in the rear windscreen washer, which you just push, doesnt stay on
peace

that or just wrap your wiring with TONS of electrical tape. Make it look as factory as possible, but as time goes on that stuff turns super tacky and leaves black resido all over the wires and what not... it's a pain to work with.
Or you can also do what I've thought about. do your wiring, wrap it in electrical tape, then get a peice of copper sheet metal, cut it and wrap it around your wiring area. Solder the two ends together (you might need a 2nd small peice of the sheet metal to solder to either side) and then tape that all up to look factory. This way there's an extra layer of un-expected crap you'd have to get past, and solder holds really well on copper. Granted they could try to snip the metal, but if you get it tight against your wires even this would be hard.
If nothing else, the theif might atleast get all cut up.
