Keyless Entry
well i search and search for a long time and i need directions on how to do keyless entry on manual doors on a 94 cx. I have seen post on how to mount it etc. but i need directions on how to wire it and stuff. if someone has any info it would help. i have a carbine plus - 4700 and its installed but i didnt install the keyless entry. what parts do i need to make this keyless entry happen? it would great if you guys could help me. thanks
You will need the door lock actuators, [one for each door] you will also need 2 SPDT relays wired like this... http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#arp Actuators/ Reverse Polarity, you will also need the alarms door lock output leads.

could you show me a picture where to wire it up to the alarm.. ill take a picture of it but i dont have the instructions so i dont know where to hook it up to
you may not need a relay if one is already built into the brain. check the case to see if it tells you the wire colors. each actuator should be mounted to the sheetmetal and parallel with the factory rod slightly above or below it. attack the J hook rod to the tip of the actuator and then secure the free end to the factory rod with the included metal clip. the position of the actuator tip should be mid-way out so it and move both inward and outward; don't bottom it out nor top it out. the actuator will have 2 wires that will need to be extended to the brain. attach them and see if lock is lock; otherwise, reverse the wires. you could also wire in a separate toggle switch so you can control it without the alarm but i don't know how to do this; looks like the relay above maybe needed.
