Key Condom?
Stupid question but does anyone make a key 'condom' (rubber or plastic protective cover) for the newer (I have an 07 Accord) keys with the big heads that have the remote lock transmitter incorporated into them?
Thanks
Thanks
Oh H*ll yes!
Thanks this is exactly what I'm looking for...
Have you ordered from here before?
Also I see the Honda factory alarm system is here and only $136! I was thinking of having an alarm installed but this looks easy and is cheaper than most aftermarket ones (which generally include install). One thing though- it says you need the anti theft code from the radio- is that covered in the owner's manual?
Also they have replacement keys for $35! Cool....
PS I see you are in Herkimer-- you guys getting snow? I'm about 150 miles southeast of you

I have never ordered from them personally, but I hear they're great to deal with.
And as far as factory alarms go, they pale in comparison to an actual alarm.... The radio code is needed because the instructions tell you to disconnect the neg. terminal when you install the alarm....
You've actually heard of Herkimer?
We're supposed to get 2-5" tonight...

Yea I know it's probably got no where near as many features as a 'real' aftermarket alarm system (I used to get them installed in every car I ever got- generally just mid-range Vipers or whatever the $200-$250 special was that month) + remote start. Also I think it reduces your insurance a bit. I think the price is right and the install looks easy, and since this is my first brand new (current model year) car I'm paranoid about running into warranty issues with installing an aftermarket alarm.
I'd really like a remote start in this car but not sure how to go about it (Still paranoid about warranty issues).
Yeah I've heard of Herkimer
(town and county). I used to live in Albany, moved a little bit south recently. We are supposed to get 3" but I think it'll just end up as cold rain...
