Default kenwood subs

are the kenwood subs good for the price. To be specific the 12" series 3005 at circuit city that are two for 130 dollars. Do they have good deep bass and durability? Are the amps all crap or worth the money?

i dont' really care for kenwood either.. kinda seem like a 1 note sub.. as in they peak in loudness at a very few notes and fade off in the rest.. pretty noticable too. But you can get them loud. A kid I sold 2 of the 3003's to (the blue ones) took the 2 12's and a pre-fab'ed box, well atleast I think it was pre-fab'ed. Anyhow, he took them to a local compitition and ended up winning with something like a 147 or 148. I personally think the mic had to have been off.. I forget what amp he had but it wasn't overly large. maybe the JBL BP6001.. ?

i have 1 12' EXCELON DB+ sub..its 300RMS and 1200 peak...i bumped that in my accord and crv..its not bad at all..and ive heard that model that you're talking about, my cousin had 2 12's in his teg...sounded real good...deep and clear bass...

its okay in my opinion, i pulled all my kenwod stuff out of my accord and went mtx..but im putting all my kenwood stuff into my SI(99)..whenever i buy one...
