Default infinity component speaker install crossover help

so i just bought some infinity kappa 60.9 component speakers. this is my first time installing components and i dont fully understand how to connect everything to the cross over.

there are 3 channels for the negative and positive wires. the first one as u can see in the picture is (in) 2nd one is (wf), 3rd one is (tw)

so i have an assumption but i dont know if its right or not and need some help so i dont mess up.

im assuming the (in) is for the speakers which is shown in the 2nd picture since there is a (in) on the speaker itself. for the (tw) im assuming its for the tweeters. but for the wf im confused on this part. am i suppose to connect the (wf) to the speaker wire from the car?

if anyone can help me out by telling me what wires do i run to what terminals on the 3 differnt terminals on the crossover. it would really help. im trying to install these over the weekend since i got a 3 day weekend comming up. any help is appreciated thanks.

i also need to know what kinda speaker wire i need. these speakers are 90 rms at 2 ohms. what size speaker wire do i need? 12 14 16 gauge? im not sure how speaker wires work. any info regarding quality speaker wire and what type i need or brand name would help also

o and any other info regarding component speaker install would be much appreciated also since this is my first time doing it. thanks

In your first pic with the crossover... In = speaker wires coming from head unit or amp to crossover. tw = wires going from crossover to tweeter. wf = wires going from crossover to woofer

Yes, in is from headunit or amp, wf goes to the woofer (the large speaker) and tw goes to tweeter. 16 gauge speaker wire is fine, if you are just using the headunit to power the speakers you can just splice into the stock wiring if you like. Rca makes some good speaker wire, the walmart schoche stuff isn't terrible either. I would get a 100 foot spool as it is always nice to have some extra.

As for component speaker tips, tweeter placement is extremely important. If you can, you might want to look in to sealing your doors and installing the speaker on a baffle to create the best midbass. Good luck with install.
