Default infinity 7541a Q's

Just bought a 7541, 4 ch amp 4x111 @ 4ohms rms, and i'm hooking it up to my 5.25 jl coax, 50 rms for fronts and rca 250 rms 6x9 in the rear, since its 4x111, should i just crank the gain real low on the fronts to not blow them? or what should i do, this is to compliment my jl 500/1 with 2 pioneer 12's. So any advice on xover settings/whatever else i need ot know would be great

Imo you should be running the crossovers in the deck instead of on the amp. As far as where, I'd set them at 120hz for the front and maybe 90hz for the rear. I run mine lower usually, but that's just me

You'll really have to play with the gain to figure out where you want it, but ideally you want your setup loud enough that you don't have to turn your deck or your amp above 75% imho

ok, so i went to hook it up using my old spade connectors, which i thought were for 8 guage, but the spade is too large, anyone familiar with this amp know the right size spade, i think it may just be the brand i used last time, but i'm not sure.

PS, the spades were used on the 2 channel amp i'm taking out, so i thought they should fit.
