I have a dead stock civic eg and am looking to upgrade my speakers/sound. Any suggestions on something that is pretty cheap. What are bazookas and how much would they cost? Thanks for the help.

 

The single best way to improve SQ on an OEM system is to replace the source, the HU, although replacing speakers can make a diff., [better high frequency response] the weak link is still the HU, and replacing it will make a much bigger diff. in SQ, [even with the oem speakers] then changing the speakers and driving them with the OEM HU. 94

 

Headunit first, speakers 2nd, sub 3rd. Nuff said.
