I see that nobody replied to your thread yet. I know how you feel. I've been there. If you haven't been able to start your car by the time you read this, I hope this helps. You probably don't have a DEI style "FailSafe starter kill." On your starter wire (probably a 14 gauge Black w/White stripe if you have a Honda, look under the dash and follow the wires coming down from the steering column. You may have to remove the plastic panel and then a metal panel) the alarm installer probably installed a Bosch relay (black 1" cube w/wires coming out of one end and maybe electrical taped or a 1x2 rectangle w/no electrical tape. You may need a flashlight and do some searching because a good installer will hide this as much as possible). Undo the tape if necessary and you'll see that the start wire was cut, and the key side of the Black/White wire is plugged into one terminal and the starter side of the Black/White wire is plugged into another terminal. Unplug or cut the start wires and reconnect them together (like factory) with the correct butt connector or by soldering and taping. Be careful because sometimes, after years of getting things installed into the car, it can be a mess under there. If it is, don't be surprised if something else doesn't work afterwards, like say your radio or something. Let me know if this helped.

I think scary answered your question pretty well. If you have a normally open ignition kill switch then the car will not start with the alarm disconnected. If you have difficulty locating the relay post here and we can help you find it. Good luck.

Maybe you blew more than one fuse. What did you do to blow the fuse in your alarm?
