If you know anything about alarm systems please help
I have the viper 791xv... and i think its stuck on silent mode
everything works fine i think... it locks and unlocks... auto starts when i press the button , blink once when i arm it
blinks twice when i disarm
but it doesnt beep and it also doesnt sound the alarm when i open the door without disarming..
Im thinking there is a simple switch somewhere but i cant find it.. i have my dash completely apart and am looking at what i believe is the brains... The big thing with viper on it.. i see no switch anywhere... there is a small button with wires coming out of it... i assume thats the button to emergency disarm it if you cant find the remote but i press it and it doesnt do anything
please help

Here's the "Audio/Video/Security" forum.
You'll get much better answers there.
I know, I know, don't thank me.

Well good for you, an OP who solved his own problem.
You can also enter/exit "valet mode" with your remote, open door press the lock button, on remote, then press unlock and then lock again, maybe you did it yourself, not that I'm calling you an *******, that would have been yourself. 94
