I just bought a Pioneer DEH-6500 and it has a AUX function and I hooked up my iPod to it, but only the tweeters work. When I switch to radio or CD all the speakers work.
Then I dont know what happen, but now only the tweeters work now. Everything else dont work. When I paly radio, CD, or iPod only tweeters work. Can anyone help me?
BTW I have a 93 Prelude and yes I hooked up the head unit right.
HELP ME PLEASE

The only thing I can think of is that a lot of those Preludes came stock with a premium sound system. When installing a new head unit that has a built in amplfier, you need to bypass the factory amps so that the radio runs directly to the speakers. The easiest way to do this is by running new speaker wires.
Good luck!
Good luck!

</TD></TR></TABLE> If the other speakers worked before and they don't after you plugged in the iPod, then you may have unplugged something , [ like a trigger for the OEM amp] or all the speakers are blown, [unlikly] or you have a problem with the HU itself, pull the HU and check the wireing, test the speakers, you need a multimeter to do a full test for speakers, but all you need is a batt, [9volt works well] to "pop" the speaker, just touch the pos. and neg. of the batt. to the pos. and neg. speaker wire, just for a sec. the speaker will "pop" if its working. If you don't get a "pop" it may just mean that, if there is an OEM amp, its not on, install a "jumper" from the constant power on the OEM radio harness to the amp trigger, [if it has one] and do the batt. test again, if you still get no "pop" check all the fuses , don't forget the engine bay fuse box, also an easy test is if you have the stock HU plug it in and see if things work, [ if OEM radio plug is still there] if not go to http://www.installdr.com to check your wireing.
