bump for the peal & seal

picked mine up last week...should be picking up all the wiring I need (re-wiring entire system...upgrading wiring)

once I get the wiring I will be peal & sealing as much of the car as possible....rewiring everything and installing the false floor in the trunk for my amps....once I am done I will take pics of the whole project

I will be interested to see those as well. I just redid all my wiring this weekend. No fun at all. I'm not sure how much peel and seal will help on the floor boards. My EK already was completely covered with OEM deadening. I did put down a layer of carpet padding. May have helped a bit. It's hard to tell.

There is an acoustic carpet available with padding built in. Not sure what the cost is.
I have it in my car, it was there when I bought it. I can tell it's aftermarket because the dead pedal is covered and it's all glued down.

$2/sq-ft is not bad. The wholesale of Dynamat Extreme is about $3/sq-ft.

Peel and seal is $1/ft^2. Cheap. I'd say try it before you try more expensive stuff. One roll is $12. If it sucks you only wasted $12. But if it does a good job then you saved yourself $12.
