Default How to test a speaker

I have ALMANI ALC-6902 6 X 9" rear speakers. Recently, one just stopped working. I really don't believe it is blown. I'm wondering if some wiring or something may be screwed up. In which case, I dont want to buy new speakers. My question is How can I test a speaker to tell if it is working properly?

If only one is not working swap it out with the one that is, if it still does not work then it is blown, if it works the problem is wiring or the amp driving it. 94

i have used 9v to test the same way mentioned above, havent used a 12v though they will make a crackle sound if they are not blown.
