Default How Much Should I Sell This Audio Stuff For?

know a ton about mechanical and all that other good stuff but ask me about audio and Ill just give you that blank stare....ya know the one like the deer give you when they look into your headlights right before you hit them....yea that one

When I first bought my prelude I bought a sound system...only to realize 2 months later I never freakin use it
well now Im more performance oriented and I need to get rid of the weight...Ive pulled the sub and sub box and I drive around with no tunes anyway so it really dont bother me
the sub and sub box are in my room just collecting dust lol

How much do you think I should sell this stuff for?
as of right now Im just going to sell the sub with sub box and the amp for the sub(I still have to remove the amp...I dont mess around with wiring and such since I have no clue about audio)

this is what I have:

Rockford Fosgate Power Series 12" HX2 Subwoofer Dual 2 OHM Voice Coils
the speaker box for the above sub
Rockford Fosgate 750 Watt Amp

According to the invoice I payed close to $1100 for the above
I hardly ever use the system...and when I do I never bump it
How much should I sell it for?
$500 for all sound good?

and how the hell would I ship the sub and sub box(plan to sell together)...its really heavy

TIA

What sucks about car audio is that once you walk out of the store it looses most of its value becuase of in the streets there are always car audio **** for sale...most of it is stolen but you could probably get your same set-up for like $250.00. It sounds like rape but true. I sold my set-up of a RF 500a2 and two Kicker L7s for $350.00 and I originally bought each sub alone for $279.99 x2, the amp was $325.00 and the big *** box custom made for my lude was $250.00...it sucks

harsh but very true, audio prices are so high lately that a lot of people are buying hot **** off the streets for 1/4 the price so the value of your stuff goes down the ******* with it
