Default How to install head unit?

Ok, first of all, I am not an idiot. For the crx is there supposed to be a cage in the dash that the head unit screws to, or DIN Rails? Or am I supposed to use the cage that came with the head unit? If I am supposed to use the one that came with the head unit, how do I install it?

like in every car, there is supposed to be a factory sized "din", din and a half, or double din mounting spot. you should be able to just slide you new deck with it's provided cage into the factory hole. but to help us all out can you post pix up of where your radio is supposed to go, so we can help you better?

use the cage that comes with the deck. you have to bend the tabs on the outside of it to clip and hold it in the plastic radio spot < should have phillips head screws on each side. slide the deck out of the cage with those thin radio removal tools first.

Thanks for not really answering my question, I did get it installed though. Much simpler then I had thought.

if u dont have any keys for the cage, probably just gonna need to get something skinny to stick in there and move the holding tabs off the deck..or just pry the bitch out
