Default HK4000D

I just purchased a HK4000D and two HK15X2's i am putting them in the back of my ej project car I was just wanting to know if anyone has heard anything bad or good about the amp or subs . The amp is RMS Power @ 17.0V: 75W @ 4 Ohm, 4000W @ 2 Ohm , and subs are 2000w rms each 2ohm . I am doing my whole trunk in fiberglass so want some info before I start . I looked at some reviews when I googled but wanted to know what HT thought .

Your charging system is not going to power that amp. Its going to motor boat and over heat and never get anywere close to the power output. Why are you trying to use that much power?

I have a 24v 15 farad ma bank and a bigger stinger alt + 2 stinger batts . It pushes 3600rms at 14v so it doesnt have to run 17 but I am going to try . And I need the power for SPL (I am a Bass head ) . I just want to know if the speakers are any good I would hate to finish my custom molded box and the subs not handle the amp . I have seen alot of good reviews on the amp . The box would be to specs and That would suck if I needed to change subs .

Maybe it's just me, but I think a "competition 15" woofer" should break the bank a little more than $300.

That being said, I've never heard any ma audio equipment.

Only 150amp but I am going to upgrade to a 300amp . It only has to push alot of power for short periods of time . I cant ride around with that much bass .
