Default Help with sub

Hey, i had my car at the mecanics a few days back, and he was messing with the ecu, because my car wasnt starting.. so i took it to another place, and the car starts running (blew a fuse) ended up buying a dist and almost a new ecu because the other mechanic trying to make some $$ off my ***.. but going through bbb and filing complaint to aaa about their shady buisness.. anyways this is wahts going on

before i took my car to the mechanics, the sub (jl 12 inch) and the amp (mtx thunder something?) work perfectly fine, but after i turn on my system, the sub does not produce bass.. i dont think the amp is connected somewhere, but since i bought the car with these components already in there, i dont really know how to work the wiring, does anyone have pictures or diagrams or most helpful, ideas on how to fix this? (does it have anything to do with the ecu?)

thanks in advance

Default Re: Help with sub (esca)

the only thing i could imagine that happened was that they might have pinched your remote turn on lead comming from your radio, or maybe disconnected the power from the battery when they were working on it. if you have a test light or a meter check to see if you have power at both your 12V constant and your turn on lead when your radio is on.
