I tryed a serch and came up unsuccessfull. I am puttinga 99 si cd player in my 93 dx and have a problem. I matched up the color wires, and am assuming I did that right, but I have no orange wires. The orange ones are for illumination, and I dont have that. Sorry for this topic, but can anyone help???? THANKS

 

you can wire it to the accessory wire. The light will be on even though the cd player isn't on. If you're worried about it being on, you can wire a switch to turn the lights on and off.

 

I don't understand. Red/black wire is the illumination in you civic.
