Help please!
Ok heres the deal, I've hooked up my system correctly everything powers on but the bass doesnt hit! I'm frustrated because this is the second time its happened to me. When I first hooked it up earlier today it was working fine. Maybe 20 minutes of it working then it died on me. I don't know whats wrong! I first hooked up my Power Acoustik FUBR-10 to a cheap amp and the same thing happened to me. I replaced the rca wires and the remote wire to check if it was that. That didnt help so I thought I might have blew the amp so I upgraded to the Power Acoustik LT1920/2.
The sub is mounted on a slot ported box. I have the dual voice coils on the sub bridged to 4 ohms and the LT1920 bridged also. This is the second time its happened to me and I tried getting answers on forums when it happened the first time. Hopefully this time I might get lucky.
Could my headunit be the problem, bad rca sub-outs? How do I check? I'm not an auto audio experts so please help. Thanks.

take a 9 volt battery( you can use your car battery but its not very safe for the sub) take your positive wire and connect it to the positive on the battery then tap the negative on the sub to the negitive on the battery.
if your sub moves its no your sub. if it doesn't then you have found your problem.
you could also a a partially bad speaker that is taking out your amps when its playing hard.

If you have a multimeter or voltmeter check to see if your getting power back to the amp, or see if the power light (if it has one) turns on when its hooked up. Check fuses and connections

Sounds like a blown sub. If it was damaged then it prolly took out your old amp with it.
